Player Profile[]

Hogan Jones is an English central midfielder currently playing for Hardly Athletic in England. He is also the current manager of the Manchester CT.

History[]

Hogan began his career at the same club his father, Warren Jones, had spent a large part of his career at, Hardly Athletic (previously known as Wunchas). This was under the mentorship of manager Jamie Johnson, who Warren had played with at Hardly Athletic and had known for a long time.

Hogan's talent was recognised early on by Manchester U18 manager Serafim Roque. The following month brought double success for Hogan. Firstly, he was called in to the England U18 squad by manager Kevin Campbell. He played a large part in the team finishing 3rd in their group missing out on qualification for the World Cup. Later in the season, Hogan became a league champion for the first time winning the England U19 League with Hardly Athletic U19.

The following season saw Hogan go out on loan to FK Lacplesi in pursuit of training to suit his growing needs as well as some first team action. Season 19 also brought a Manchester U21 call up by manager Jamie Murray.

Subsequent loan spells at Glace Bay, Pompey and Highlanders came and went for Hogan. During this time, Darren Kwiatkowska recognised Hogan's progression in skills and experience and called him in to the England U21 setup. England U21 narrowly missed out on qualification by goal difference following a loss in the final game to eventual group winners, Indonesia U21.

In season 23 and 24, Hogan spent a period at Blackpool AFC under his father's management. In this time, Hogan picked up the award of best avergae rating in C-4 of 7.14. He returned to Hardly Athletic where he has played in the Continental League. Season 24 also brought about a England NT call up from manager Darren Kwiatkowska who Hogan previously played for at England U21 level.
